PlayMonopoly.us: Albertsons Monopoly Game 2016

PlayMonopoly.us is the promotional website for the annual Monopoly Collect & Win Game presented by American grocery company Albertsons. Participants can win from $188,098,263 in prizes and discount offers during the Promotion Period running from February 3, 2016 through May 3, 2016.

To participate in the Albertsons Monopoly 2016 Collect & Win Game, participants must obtain game piece in-store or request free game pieces by mail. A total of 1,215,498,000 game pieces are available for distribution during the Promotion Period.

Participants can also enter an online game at PlayMonopoly.us using codes that can be found in certain game pieces for a chance to win $10,000 in cash, grocery gift cards and more.

How The Albertsons Monopoly 2016 Collect & Win Game Works

To obtain Albertsons Monopoly Game Pieces in-store, customers must complete a purchase at any of the following participating stores:

The number of game pieces a customer can obtain in a single transaction depend on the number of participating products purchased during the transaction. Customers receive a bonus game piece with the purchase of ten participating products and one game piece with each purchase of a participating product. Each customer is limited to a maximum of one transaction per 3-hour period.

Each game piece must be carefully opened by tearing off the perforated portions to reveal its content consisting of a discount offer, an online game code, an instant prize, or game piece coupons. Each game piece also contain four game markers which can be used for the Collect & Win Game.

The Collect & Win Game

Participants must place their game markers on matching prize areas on the Albertsons Monopoly 2016 Game Board, available in-store. 

Each prize section is marked on the official Albertsons Monopoly 2016 Game Board with the correct game marker numbers needed to collect to win that specified prize.

If a section of the game board is completed by matching all game makers, potential winner can win the prize indicated on the game board.

It’s recommended not to permanently affix the game makers on the game board because potential prize winners must move original game markers to a new official game board with an authorized store representative in order to claim a prize.

Instant Win Game

A game piece can reveal an Instant Prize coupon for one of the Instant Prizes, including gift cards and Redbox free video game or DVD rentals.

The Online Code Game At www.PlayMonopoly.us

A total of 705,264,555 Albertsons Monopoly 2016 Online Game Codes can be found in certain game pieces. Participants who discover an online game code must visit the promotional website at www.playmonopoly.us and register for the Online Code Game. Participants must enter their 12-digit alphanumeric code (without dashes) to find out if they won a prize.

All online game codes must be entered by no later than 11:59 p.m. PST on May 18, 2016 to be eligible.

Participants can also send their online coupon code by mail to verify the code. Participants must affix the coupon to a 3″x5″ index card containing their full name, complete mailing address, phone number and age and mail it in a 1st class-stamped, hand addressed envelope to “MONOPOLY Sweepstakes”, P.O. Box 441287, Kennesaw, GA 30160. Each mail-in entry must be postmarked no later than May 18, 2016, and received by May 25, 2016.

Each online game code submission also result in an entry into the Monopoly Sweepstakes.
